One: Sunset Sing-Along

[I deleted this poest because it is included in my chapbook, "Unto the East." However, the very hilarious original ending is worth keeping up:

love or money in the end, plus their pride on a long
journey home. I win only one of those though
you could guess which it is - score one for me.

    I love this! I've never been a poet myself, and I feel like I've never learned "how" to read poetry, but yours is so clear.
    And I like the cowboy part. :)

    LOVE it! You are so talented at capturing these almost unspeakable (sometimes it feels like unthinkable) emotions in words. Thank you so much for this poem -- I have a feeling I'm going to be visiting this site to reread it often, just as I have with your Dragon poem!
