Over on patient press, I am doing a poem a day. Since I am attending to my still-ill cat and being asked to consider putting him down, I am writing some sad poetry. Do not be alarmed. Much of it is about my poor cat.

I just read about Samuel...pets are family and better than most people I have encountered in life. I'm really glad he was with you-what a blessed life he had because of you and yours in return. Life for pets or humans will always seem too short no matter what...
